울진군에 따르면 지난 8월 23억원의 예산을 추가로 편성 후 9월 한달간 울진사랑카드 혜택 한도액을 당초 50만 원에서 100만 원으로 상향하였고, 이와 별도로 산불피해 극복을 위해 9월부터 예산 소진시까지 할인율을 당초 10%에서 15%로 상향했다.
9월 현재 울진사랑카드 총 사용액은 350억 원이고 30억 원의 캐시백이 지급되었으며, 울진사랑카드 인센티브가 활발한 소비활동을 촉진 시켜 지역경제가 활성화되는 계기가 되어 주민들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
울진사랑카드를 사용 중인 주민 A씨는“지난 추석명절에 울진사랑카드 덕분에 성수품을 저렴하게 구입 할 수 있었으며, 평소에도 주유소, 마트, 음식점 등에서 다양하게 활용하고 있다”며“앞으로도 울진사랑카드 10% 할인행사가 지속된다면 가정에 큰 힘이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
