[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 9일부터 한국재료연구원, 경남지방중소벤처기업청, 창원산업진흥원과 관내 방산기업 8개사 등 민·관·연으로 구성된 “미국 첨단방위·항공산업 특화사절단”을 꾸리고 세계 방위산업의 중심지인 미국 방위·항공시장 진출을 준비 중이라고 4일 밝혔다.
사업 참가일정은 10일 워싱턴D.C.에서 개최되는 세계 최대 규모의 美육군전시회 참관을 시작으로, 11일 미국시장 방위·항공산업 전략 세미나 및 1:1 개별 수출상담회가 개최되며, 12일에는 미국 수출 및 판로 확대를 위해 중소벤처기업진흥공단 소속 기관인 워싱턴D.C. 수출인큐베이터 방문으로 워싱턴D.C.에서의 일정으로 마무리된다.
