세계평화통일가정연합의 한학자 총재는 이 건물에 대해 “하나님이 꿈꿔오던 에덴동산”이라는, 의미를 부여했다. 하지만, 최근 일본의 일부 교인이 신축 중인 이 건물을 비판하는 글을 SNS(대인 관계망 서비스)에 올렸다.
