[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시에서 2022 진주건축문화제가 오는 24일 개막식을 시작으로 31일까지 8일간 일호광장 진주역(옛 진주역) 뒤 차량정비고에서 개최된다.
2022 진주건축문화제는 ‘탄소중립시대의 건축’이라는 주제로 기후변화 위기에 대응하기 위한 건축분야의 방향성을 제시하기 위해 마련됐다.
오는 오후 2시께 개막식에는 축제의 시작을 알리는 개막선언과‘자투리 목재 새활용 파빌리온’대학생 아이디어 공모에 선정된 작품에 대한 시상식이 열린다.
진주시 관계자는 “올해 처음 개최하는 진주건축문화제는 경남 최초 도입된 공공건축가제도 운영의 성과다”며“진주건축문화제는 10월 축제 기간에 맞춰 계속 이어갈 예정이다”고 말했다.
