[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 경남도, 진주시, 사천시, 고성군이 공동주최하고 (재)경남테크노파크가 주관하는‘2022 UAM(K-PAV) 국제 컨퍼런스’가 27일 한국토지주택공사 본사에서 열렸다.
UAM(K-PAV) 국제 컨퍼런스는 지난 2016년부터 매년 진주시에서 개최되고 있으며, UAM((도심항공교통, Urban Air Mobility)과 관련된 국내외 전문가들이 참여해 다양한 의견을 교류하는 장이다.
이번 행사에는 300명 이상의 UAM 관계자들이 참석해 UAM 분야에 대한 뜨거운 관심을 보였으며 행사 내용은 온라인으로도 송출됐다.
이날 컨퍼런스에서는 PAV(개인항공운송수단, Personal Air Vehicle) 기술 경연대회에서 수상한 기업의 기체와 국내외 기업체가 개발한 기체를 전시해 풍성한 볼거리로 행사 참가자들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.
조규일 진주시장은 “컨퍼런스를 계기로 UAM을 비롯한 항공산업에 대한 다양한 의견교류를 통해 지역 항공산업이 한 단계 도약하는 시발점이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
