진주시, 농촌일손지원단 업무협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 31일 진주시청 5층 상황실에서 농촌일손 부족 해소를 위한 진주시 농촌일손지원단 업무협약을 체결했다.

이날 협약식에는 조규일 진주시장, 김정구 농협 진주시지부장, 이상주 진주시농협조합공동사업법인대표가 상호협력 협약서에 서명했다.

이번 협약식을 통해 출범하는‘진주시 농촌일손지원단’은 국내의 도시 구직자 및 지역 유휴 인력을 농가에 중개 알선하게 된다.

또 합법적인 외국인 계절근로자(결혼이민자 4촌 이내)를 도입하는 등 체계적으로 운영할 계획이며, 내년 상반기 초전동 농산물도매시장 2층에 개소할 예정이다.

조규일 시장은 “농촌일손부족 문제는 공공영역으로 확대해 모두가 관심을 가져야 한다”며“이번 업무협약을 통해 많은 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
