브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 31일 보도자료를 통해 오는 11월 7일부터 5일간 ‘제34차 ACSIC 회의’를 대구 소재 인터불고 호텔에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
‘ACSIC(Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation)’은 중소기업 신용보완제도를 운영하는 아시아 국가 간의 상호협력을 위해 1988년 설립된 ‘아시아신용보완기관연합’이다. 국내에서는 신용보증기금, 기술보증기금, 신용보증재단중앙회가 소속돼 있으며, 일본, 인도네시아 등 아시아 12개국 17개 기관이 참여하고 있다.
이번 회의는 신보가 1989년과 2005년에 이어 17년 만에 세 번째 주관하는 행사이며, ACSIC 회원기관 임직원 및 국내외 초청 인사 포함 약 250여명이 참석할 예정이다.
신보는 이번 회의 슬로건을 ‘Tomorrow for SMEs, ACSIC Together (중소기업을 위한 내일, 함께하는 ACSIC)’로 정하고, ‘위대한 도약 : 지속 가능 성장을 위한 중소기업금융 발전방안’을 주제로 예측불가의 글로벌 팬데믹 시대에 중소기업의 회복탄력성을 지원하기 위한 다양한 금융지원방안을 모색할 예정이다.
특히, 신보는 이번 회의를 통해 코로나 극복을 위한 풍부한 금융지원 경험과 포스트 코로나 시대 대한민국의 대표적인 혁신금융 정책기관인 신보의 위상과 역할을 국제사회에 널리 알리게 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
또한, 이번 회의는 신용보증기금 본점이 위치한 대구광역시와 경주시에서 열릴 예정으로, 회의뿐만 아니라 산업시찰, 문화행사 등을 통해 한국의 경제발전과 아름다움을 다양하게 전파할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 보인다.
신보 관계자는 “그간 코로나19로 인해 열리지 못했던 회의가 재개돼 참가 기관 간 정보교류, 네트워크 강화 등 회의 기본 목적뿐만 아니라, 포스트 코로나 시대 아시아 지역 중소기업들의 지속 가능한 성장을 위해 중소기업 금융의 발전적 미래를 함께 논의해보는 계기가 마련될 것이다”고 전했다.
