브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정진석 국민의힘 비상대책위원장은 2일 북한이 동해상으로 탄도미사일을 발사해 울릉군이 공습경보까지 발령한데 대해 "정말 구제불능 집단"이라고 맹비판했다.
정진석 비대위원장은 이날 오전 국회에서 주재한 비대위 회의에서 "온 국민이 슬픔에 빠져있는 상황임을 그들도 뻔히 잘 알고 있을 터인데 아랑곳하지 않고 또 도발을 감행했다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 비대위 회의 직후 기자들과 만난 자리에서도 "북한의 탄도미사일이 어디를 겨냥하고 있는지 정확히 파악해봐야 한다"며 "울릉도에 대피령까지 내려졌는데, 북한의 탄도미사일 방향이 우리 울릉도 근해를 통과한 건 아닌지 파악해볼 필요가 있는 것 같다. 종전과 다른 양상으로 도발이 이뤄진 것은 아닌지 의구심이 간다"고 말했다.
전 비대위원장은 또한 "온 국민이 슬픔에 빠진 시기인 걸 뻔히 알고 있음에도 아랑곳하지 않고 군사 도발을 자행한 북한 정권에 정말, 우리 국민들이 규탄하는 그런 심정임을 분명히 밝혀드린다"고 거듭 강조했다.
한편 이날 합참에 따르면 이날 오전 8시55분 북한이 동해상으로 탄도미사일을 2발 발사했다. 미사일 중 1발은 울릉도 방향을 향하다 동해 공해상으로 떨어진 것으로 알려졌다.
이에 경북 울릉군 지역에는 공습경보가 발령됐다. 합참은 지역주민들에게 가까운 지하 대피시설로 피하길 당부했다.
