[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 호텔 객실이 미술품 전시장으로 변신하는 '아트경남 호텔아트페어’가 창원서 열린다
‘2022 아트경남 호텔아트페어 창원’이 오는 17일부터 20일까지 나흘간 그랜드머큐어 앰배서더 창원 8~9층 54개 객실과 호텔 로비, 야외 전시장 등에서 펼쳐진다.
호텔아트페어는 호텔의 객실을 비롯한 모든 공간을 전시장으로 삼아 미술품을 전시 및 판매하는 행사다.
이번 아트페어는 지난 6~7월 전국 공모를 통해 선정된 115명의 작가들이 참가해 회화·조각·사진·공예·설치미술 등 다양한 분야의 작품 3,000여 점을 선보인다.
작가들은 전시 기간 중 창원에 체류하며 관람객과 직접 소통한다.
대형 갤러리가 아닌 공모를 통한 개별 작가들로 구성돼 신진 초대 작가들을 비롯한 유망 작가들의 개성 있는 작품을 만날 수 있다. 작가 공모 형식의 아트페어는 아트경남이 전국에서 유일하다.
