[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회 문화환경도시위원회 손태화, 이정희, 김혜란 의원과 경제복지여성위원회 소속 김수혜, 성보빈 의원은, 광역단체 중 출산율 1위인 세종특별자치시 공동육아나눔터를 9일 방문했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 현재 구암 1동에 추진 중인 도시재생사업 『두루두루 어울림센터』의 효율적 운영을 위해 세종시 대표 공동육아나눔터 2개소의 아동친화 시설과 프로그램 운영 등을 벤치마킹하기 위함이다.
이날 창원특례시 복지여성보건국 소속 직원도 함께 동행해 사회적 육아에 대한 지향점을 함께 고민하고, 도시재생사업의 올바른 방향에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 새롬동 공동육아나눔터는 새롬동종합복지센터 1층에 약 114평 규모로, 500여 종의 대여 장난감과 넓은 놀이 공간을 구비해 지역사회 돌봄공동체 조성과 양육친화적인 사회환경을 구축하는 데 그 역할을 톡톡히 하고 있어 의원들의 이목을 끌었다.
벤치마킹을 제안한 손태화 의원은 “이번 세종시 공동육아나눔터 방문을 통해 창원시의 출산율 제고와 인구 유입을 견인할 수 있는 양육친화적인 도시재생사업이 추진 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
