[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 9일 의창구 사림복지회관 무료급식소에서 지역 어르신들의 건강한 겨울을 보내시기 위해 삼계탕 나눔 무료급식을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 무료급식은 본격적인 추위가 다가오는 연말을 맞아, 기력이 소진된 어르신들을 위해 의창구, 성산구 읍·면·동 자원봉사회 회원 16명이 이른 아침부터 모여 닭을 손질하고 반찬을 만들어 한마음 한뜻으로 100여 명의 어르신들께 대접하며 건강하게 겨울을 견디시라는 말도 함께 전했다.
창원시자원봉사회는 15개동 609명으로, 회원들의 손길이 필요한 곳에서 봉사하는 단체로 창원시 곳곳에서 묵묵히 일하고 있다.
오명자 창원시자원봉사회 회장은 “추운 겨울 어르신들이 삼계탕을 드시고 원기를 회복하셨으면 좋겠다는 생각으로 이번 무료급식을 준비했다.”면서 “어르신들이 좋아하시는 모습을 보니 기쁨이 배가 되는 것 같아 뿌듯하다.”고 말했다.
