14일 울진군은 ㈜울진유통농업회사법인이 경북친환경영농조합법인과 컨소시엄으로 서울친환경유통센터 주관 2023년 서울 친환경 학교급식 납품업체 공모에 최종 납품업체로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
이번 선정으로 ㈜울진유통농업회사법인과 경북친환경영농조합법인은 내년 1월부터 3년간 경상북도를 대표하여 서울시 학교급식에 친환경 농산물을 공급하게 된다.
㈜울진유통농업회사법인은 2023년 첫해 울진에서 생산된 감자, 양파, 양배추 등 친환경 농산물을 10억 원 이상 공급할 계획이며, 연차별로 품목과 공급량을 늘려 매출액 연 20억 이상 목표를 두고 사전 준비에 나선다는 계획이다.
친환경 농산물의 안정적인 물량확보와 원활한 식재료 공급을 위해 친환경 인증 농가 확대, 계약재배 추진, 출하 시기 조절 등 관내 친환경 농산물 생산 농가 조직화와 공공 급식 기획생산체계를 구축할 계획이다.
손병복 울진군수는“울진 친환경 농산물의 서울 학교급식 공급은 도시와 농촌이 상생할 수 있는 사업의 일환으로 자라나는 아이들에게 건강한 학교 밥상을 제공함은 물론 지역 농업인들의 소득증대에도 크게 기여 할 것”이라며 “서울 학교급식과 더불어 경북도 내 광역 친환경 급식에도 지역에서 생산되는 친환경 농산물이 지속적으로 확대 공급될 수 있도록 지원할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
