[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도는 제25기 경남여성지도자 양성교육 과정 수료식이 17일 경남대를 시작으로 29일 인제대, 다음 달 6일 경상국립대, 13일 창원대에서 연이어 열린다고 밝혔다.
이날 경남대학교 수료식은 경남대학교 평생교육원에서 개최되었으며, 김상덕 경남대학교 평생교육원장, 류해석 경상남도 여성가족국장, 제25기 경남대학교 여성지도자 양성교육과정 수료생 29명 등 50여 명의 관계자가 참석했다.
수료생들은 8개월간 맞춤형 리더십 교육 등의 전문과정과 경제·경영 등 특화과정, 사회봉사 등 교양과정 교육 프로그램을 충실히 이수했다.
경남 여성지도자 양성교육 과정은 여성의 정치·사회 참여를 확대하고자 1998년 개설된 교육과정으로 2021년도까지 총 3,542명의 수료생을 배출했으며 도내 4개 대학에 위탁 운영되고 있다.
수료생 중 80명은 도의회·시군의회 의원으로 진출했고, 이 외에도 지자체 각종 위원회와 시민단체 활동 등을 통해 활발하게 정책결정에 참여하고 있어, 경남여성지도자 양성교육 과정은 지역 사회와 도정 발전에 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있다.
경남도는 앞으로 ‘여성지도자 양성교육’의 질을 높이기 위해 교과 과정 등을 자문 받아 교육생의 교육 만족도를 높이면서 여성지도자 전문성을 강화시키기 위한 프로그램을 준비해 나갈 예정이다.
