[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 ‘2022 충무공이순신방위산업전’의 성공적인 대회 개최를 위해 17일 해군사관학교에서 창원시·해군사관학교·해군군수사령부와 합동으로 행사 추진상황 최종점검 회의를 가졌다고 밝혔다.
오는 12월 6일부터 9일까지 4일간 개최되는 ‘2022 충무공이순신방위산업전&스마트 네이비 컨퍼런스’는 국내 방위산업의 해외수출 촉진과 첨단 방위산업 기술 발전을 도모하기 위해 진해 해군사관학교에서 열린다.
이번 방산전에는 롤스로이스, GE Aviation社을 비롯한 글로벌 방산기업과 국내방산대표 기업인 한화에어로스페이스, 현대로템, LIG넥스원, SNT중공업, 대우조선해양, STX엔진 등 방산기업 ·기관 82개사 127개 부스가 참가할 예정이며, 22개국 주한대사관 국방무관들이 참가하여 신기술 국제포럼, 수출상담회도 동시에 진행한다.
류효종 미래전략산업국장은 “성공적인 행사가 될 수 있도록 다양하게 마련된 프로그램들을 철저하고 세밀하게 준비하겠다”며 “이번 방산 전을 통해 글로벌시장 확대와 수출 활성화에 기여하고 방산 메카도시인 창원시가 방산교역을 연결하는 실크로드의 역할을 수행해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
