[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 19일 창원 편백 치유의 숲 일원에서 열린 ‘창원 남파랑길 가을여행 걷기 행사’를 성황리에 마쳤다고 21일 밝혔다.
이 행사는 코리아둘레길의 남해안 노선인 남파랑길을 비롯한 창원의 걷기 여행길을 홍보하기 위해 마련됐다.
온라인으로 모집한 500명의 시민과 현장에서 등록한 100여 명을 더해 모두 600여 명의 대규모 인원이 참가해, 진해 장복산에 자리한 창원 편백 치유의 숲 치유센터에 모여 삼밀사, 하늘마루를 지나 다시 치유센터로 돌아오는 약 3.4㎞ 코스를 걸었다.
둘레길 곳곳에 펼쳐진 늦가을 마지막 잎새가 떠나는 가을을 못내 붙잡듯 아쉬움의 탄성은 삼밀사 앞에서 나눠주는 솜사탕으로 대신했다. 코스 곳곳에 설치된 남파랑길 팻말 앞에서는 인증 사진도 남겼다.
반환점인 하늘마루 공터에서는 탁 트인 진해만 전경과 함께 통기타 라이브 공연을 감상하며 치유의 시간을 가졌다. 시는 코스를 완주한 참가자에게 완주증서와 소정의 기념품을 증정했다.
구진호 문화관광체육국장은 “이번 행사가 남파랑길 창원 구간 중 한 곳인 진해드림로드를 비롯해 창원의 우수한 생태 자원을 활용한 걷기 여행길을 알리는 데 보탬이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
