[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해시는 23일 김해교육지원청 소회의실에서 창의적 세계시민 양성 및 국제역량 강화를 위해 김해교육지원청 및 굿네이버스와 업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식은 홍태용 김해시장과 안태환 김해교육지원청 교육장, 권민정 굿네이버스 부산울산경남본부장, 김민정 경남동부지부장이 참석했다.
이 자리에서 홍태용 김해시장은 시장 재임 전부터 다양한 후원을 통해 굿네이버스 경남동부지부의 지역후원회 회원으로 활동 중이라고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 자치단체, 교육기관, 굿네이버스 3자가 함께하는 첫 사례로, 김해시청, 김해교육지원청, 굿네이버스 경남동부지부가 상호 신뢰와 우호적 협력관계를 바탕으로 다양한 국제교류 협력 네트워크 활성화를 통해 창의적인 세계시민을 육성하고 김해시민들의 국제적 역량을 강화하기 위하여 협력하자는 다짐이 담겨있다.
홍태용 김해시장은 “이번 업무협약 체결을 통해 세 기관이 공동 협력하여 김해시의 세계시민 양성과 국제역량이 더욱더 강화될 것으로 기대된다.”고 말했다.
