[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회는 25일 창원특례시와 시 산하 공공기관장에 대한 인사검증 실시 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이날 창원특례시의회 김이근 의장과 창원특례시 홍남표 시장은 시장접견실에서 ‘창원특례시 산하 공공기관장 인사검증 협약서’에 공동 서명하며 인사검증 도입에 대한 협력을 약속했다.
이번 협약은 김이근 의장과 홍남표 시장 사이에 인사검증 필요성에 대한 공감대가 미리 형성되면서 시의회와 집행부 간 큰 이견없이 순조롭게 진행됐다.
인사검증 대상은 총 6곳으로 ▲창원시설공단 이사장 ▲창원레포츠파크 이사장 ▲창원시정연구원장 ▲창원산업진흥원장 ▲창원문화재단 대표이사 ▲창원복지재단 이사장이다.
현재 창원산업진흥원장과 창원시설공단 이사장 채용공고가 진행 중으로 이번 인사부터 인사검증을 실시한다.
창원시는 산하 공공기관장 임명 전 시의회에 인사검증을 요청하고, 시의회는 10일 이내에 인사검증을 마쳐야 한다. 소관 상임위원회는 회부된 요청서에 따라 인사검증 청문회를 실시해 기관장에 대한 직무수행능력 및 전문성 등을 검증하며, 위원회는 7일 이내에 청문회를 마치고 의장에게 청문경과보고서를 제출해야 한다.
