[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 지난 2003년 부영주택은 진해화확 터 51만 4718㎡를 감정가 대비 60%인 668억원에 매입했다. 하지만 이 터는 구 진해화학이 30여년 동안 화학비료를 생산하면서 토지가 오염됐고, 이곳에 아파트를 지으려던 부영주택은 환경 문제에 봉착했다.
창원시가 올해까지 부영주택에 내린 토양정화 조치명령은 7차, 명령불이행에 따른 고발은 6차, 폐석고 처리와 관련해 진해구청 명령·고발은 11차까지 진행됐으며 이마저도 올해 말이 기한이다.
