진주시복지재단, 진주시평거종합사회복지관에 김장나눔 후원금 전달

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] (재)진주시복지재단(사무총장·박성장)은 7일 진주시평거종합사회복지관을 방문해 ‘코로나19 극복 김장 나눔 지원사업 따뜻한 겨울나기’ 행사를 위한 후원금 500만원을 전달했다.

이번 행사는 코로나19로 어려운 이웃에게 따뜻한 겨울을 선물하기 위해 진행된 김장 나눔 사업으로 평거주공2단지에 거주하는 취약계층 300세대에 전달된다.

박성장 사무총장은 “홀몸 어르신, 장애인 등 김치가 필요한 취약계층에 잘 전달되기를 바란다”며“모두가 따뜻한 연말연시를 보낼 수 있도록 앞으로도 노력을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.

안병용 관장은 “코로나19로 더욱 어려워진 시기에 이번 김장 나눔이 이웃들에게 따뜻한 겨울을 날 수 있는 희망이 되길 바란다”라며 “지역을 위해 애써주는 진주시복지재단에 감사함을 전한다” 고 말했다.

한편 (재)진주시복지재단은 김장김치가 필요한 취약계층을 위해 매년 지역 사회복지기관 후원금 전달을 통해 김장 나눔 행사를 진행하고 있다.
