브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 직장인이 첫 직장에서 계속 근무하거나 떠나는 가장 큰 이유는 ‘직무 적성’ 때문인 것으로 나타났다.
9일 잡코리아에 따르면 경력 10년 미만의 직장인 715명을 대상으로 ‘현재 첫 직장에서 근무하고 있는지’ 조사한 결과, 전체 응답자 2명중 1명에 이르는 51.0%가 ‘퇴사했다’고 답했다.
첫 직장을 퇴사한 이유 1위는 ‘적성에 맞지 않는 직무’(26.3%)로 조사됐다.
이어 △낮은 연봉(14.8%) △회사의 비전이 낮아 보여서(14.5%) △새로운 일을 하기 위해서(13.7%) △복지제도가 좋지 않아서(11.5%) △상사/동료와의 관계가 좋지 않아서(11.0%) △일을 하면서 배울 점이 없다는 생각이 들어서(11.0%) 순이었다.
첫 직장에 계속 다니고 있다고 답한 직장인(49.0%)도 첫 직장을 유지하는 이유 1위로 ‘직무가 적성에 잦아서’(28.9%)을 꼽았다.
다음으로 ‘적당한 업무량’이 첫 직장을 유지하는 요인이라는 답변이 27.7%로 많았고, ‘일 하면서 배울 점이 많다(24.0%)’는 답변이 뒤를 이었다. 또한, ‘출퇴근 소요 시간이 적당해서’ 첫 직장을 계속 다니고 있다는 직장인도 23.4%로 상대적으로 많았다
한편, ‘직장생활을 시작한 이후 진로에 대해 고민한 적 있는지’ 질문한 결과, 10명 중 8명 이상인 86.6%가 ‘있다’고 답했다.
