[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해시 치매안심센터는 7일과 8일 장유3동 율하2LH1단지와 불암동 선암마을에서 2022년도 기억채움마을 제5, 6호 현판식을 개최했다고 8일 밝혔다.
기억채움마을은 치매에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 치매환자와 가족이 안전하고 자유롭게 지역사회 내에서 살아갈 수 있는 치매친화적인 마을환경 조성 사업이다.
김해시는 지난 2019년 대동면 감내·주중마을, 2021년 주촌면 양동·내삼 마을에 이어 올해는 불암동과 장유3동을 선정해 현재 6개의 기억채움마을을 운영하고 있다.
올해는 지난 4월, 2개 마을 선정 이후 지금까지 △경로당 내부환경 정비를 위한 물품 지원 △치매서포터즈와 연계한 기억채움 마을학교 프로그램 운영 △치매극복선도단체 및 치매극복선도도서관 지정 △치매안심가맹점과 등대지기 지정 등 다양한 치매 안전망 구축 사업을 완료했다.
이종학 김해시보건소장은 “기억채움마을을 통해 마을 주민들이 치매환자와 가족들에 대한 이해와 배려심을 가질 수 있도록 하고 치매친화적 마을환경 조성으로 치매 걱정 없는 살기 좋은 김해시를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
