[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 양산시는 시민들의 급증하는 복지 수요에 대응하고자 다양한 복지서비스 제공하고 시민들의 휴식 공간을 제공할 ‘종합복지허브타운’을 12월 착공한다고 밝혔다.
종합복지허브타운은 총공사비 537억원을 투입해 물금읍 가촌리 1312-1번지에 연면적 1만7,833㎡, 지하1층/지상5층 규모로 건립될 예정이며, 2020년 5월에 설계 공모를 거쳐 2022년 4월 설계용역을 완료했고, 11월 공사계약 후 12월 초에 착공하여 2024년 12월 준공할 예정이다.
세부시설은 사회복지시설, 장애인복지시설, 노인복지시설, 가족센터, 작은도서관, 건강증진센터 등이며, 다양한 계층이 이용할 수 있도록 각 분야별 전문가 등의 의견을 수렴해 이용자 중심의 층별·실별로 구성해 시민들의 복지 욕구를 충족할 예정이다.
