브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자 = 야당이 윤석열 정부의 '문재인 케어'(건강보험 보장성 강화 정책) 폐기 움직임을 비판하자 여당이 이를 반박하고 나섰다.
양금희 국민의힘 수석대변인은 15일 논평에서 "저출산 고령화로 보험 재정의 건전성에 집중했어야 할 시기에 도입한 문재인 케어로 건보(건강보험) 지출은 매년 평균 17%씩 늘었다"며 "문재인 케어 5년으로 한국의 자랑스러운 건강보험제도의 지속가능성에 위기를 맞고 있다"고 밝혔다.

그는 이어 "대통령만 생색낸 문재인 케어로 건강보험 제도 자체의 지속성이 흔들리고 있는 것"이라며 "세금과 보험료를 내는 국민을 위해서, 미래 세대에 튼튼한 건강보험 제도를 물려주기 위해서라도 문재인 케어는 당연히 폐기되고 건강보험 보장성 정책을 시급히 다시 잡아야 한다"고 밝혔다.
