[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군이 경남도 주관 '2022년도 대한민국 안전대전환 집중안점점검' 평가 분야에서 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 올해 안전대전환 집중안전점검 추진 성과를 평가해 우수한 성적을 거둔 기관을 표창하는 것으로 시부에서는 통영시가 군부에서는 의령군이 최우수로 선정됐다.
의령군은 집중안전점검에서 대상 80개소의 안전점검 실효성 강화, 자율안전점검 확산, 보수·보강 및 후속조치, 결과공개, 홍보활동 등 전 분야에서 높은 점수를 받았다.
또 오태완 군수와 이미화 부군수가 각각 추진 점검 회의를 통해 실효성을 높이고, 여러 차례 현장점검에 동행해 각별한 노력을 기울인 점이 좋은 반응을 불러일으켰다.
의령군은 민관합동 점검반을 구성해 신뢰도를 높였고, 특히 드론 및 열화상카메라 등 첨단장비를 활용하여 인력이 접근할 수 없는 곳까지 빈틈없이 점검해 안전도를 높였다.
자율안전점검표 1만 2천여 부를 제작, 군민에게 배부해 안전 점검 확산 분위기 조성에도 나섰다.
군은 현장시정 대상은 즉시 조치하였고, 보수·보강 대상은 내년도 예산을 확보해 대비하기로 했다.
오태완 군수는 “안전도시로 위상이 한 단계 더 올라갔다. 군민의 안전을 더욱 세심히 챙기는 의령군이 되겠다”고 말했다.
