[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시와 창원산업진흥원은 21일 10시, 14시 2회차에 걸쳐 창원산업진흥원 고용안정지원교육센터 세미나실에서 2023년 지역주도형 청년일자리사업 신규 참여기업 모집을 위한 사업설명회를 개최했다.
이날 설명회는 기업체 인사담당자 80여 명이 참여한 가운데 사업소개와 참석자 질의응답순으로 진행했다.
지역주도형 청년일자리사업은 행정안전부와 경상남도, 창원특례시가 상호협력해 추진하고 창원산업진흥원이 수행하며, 지역기업이 원하는 인재를 채용하고 이들의 정착을 유도하는 지역특화 정규직 일자리 지원 사업이다.
창원시 거주하는 만 39세 이하 미취업 청년을 신규채용하는 지역기업에 1인당 200만원(기업부담 10% 포함)의 인건비를 지원하고, 참여 청년에게는 주거정착금 월 30만원과 교통비 월 10만원 등을 최대 2년간 지원한다.
창원특례시는 2023년 신규 사업으로 지역기업의 수요와 주력산업을 반영해 항공우주 분야, 에너지 분야, 신기술인력 분야 중심으로 사업을 추진할 예정이다.
최영숙 청년정책담당관은 “지역주도형 청년일자리사업이 관내 기업의 인력난을 해소하고 청년이 지역에 안정적으로 정착하여 일자리 해소 및 기업 경쟁력 강화로 이어질 수 있도록 안정적으로 사업을 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
