창원특례시, ‘자활, 우리의 꿈을 꽃 피우다’

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 23일 오전 그랜드 머큐어 앰배서더 호텔에서 ‘제9회 창원시 자활가족 한마당 대회’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

‘자활, 우리의 꿈을 꽃 피우다’라는 주제로 창원시 4개 지역자활센터 종사자 및 참여자 250여 명이 한자리에 모여 공감과 소통의 자리를 가졌으며, 이번 행사는 올 한 해 자활사업 성과를 공유하고 코로나19 상황에도 자활사업을 이끌어온 자활 가족의 격려와 사기진작을 위해 마련됐다.

1부 기념식에서는 자활사업 홍보 영상을 시작으로 각 센터에서 추천한 12명의 유공자에게 창원특례시장과 창원특례시의회 의장 표창패 수여와 자활의 의미를 다지는 LED 꽃다발 점등 퍼포먼스를, 2부 화합한마당 행사에서는 퓨전 국악과 트롯가수의 축하 무대로 1년간 수고한 참여자와 실무자를 격려했다.

행사장 외부에는 자활생산품 전시·홍보관을 운영하여 4개 지역자활센터에서 생산된 상품을 한 곳에서 체험하고 사업에 관한 정보도 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.

지역자활센터는 보건복지부 지정 시설로 일할 능력은 있으나 일반 노동시장 참여가 어려운 저소득 시민에게 맞춤형 일자리를 발굴·지원하고 탈수급을 통한 일상 복귀를 돕는 전문기관으로 창원시에는 4개의 지역자활센터(창원, 마산희망, 마산, 진해지역자활센터)가 있다.
