브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차가 자금 수요가 몰리는 연말에 협력사 납품대금 조기 지급을 통한 상생 활동에 나선다.
현대차는 26일 보도자료를 통해 협력사의 납품대금 3531억 원을 당초 지급일보다 앞당겨 올해 중 지급할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
고금리·고물가·고환율 ‘3고(高) 충격’으로 인한 자금시장 경색 상황 속에서 협력사 자금 부담을 경감하기 위한 목적이다. 대기업보단 중소기업이 현재의 3고 복합위기로 인한 충격에 더 취약하다는 점도 고려해 지급이 결정됐다.
현대차그룹은 해마다 설과 추석 명절을 앞두고 협력사에 납품대금을 조기 지급해 왔다. 이번 현대차의 협력사 납품대금 조기 지급은, 우리나라 기준금리가 사상 처음으로 여섯 차례 연속 인상되는 상황 등을 감안해 추가로 납품대금을 조기 집행한다는 데 의의가 있다.
