브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자 = 국민의힘이 더불어민주당에 최근 무인기 도발과 관련한 '북한 규탄 공동결의안'을 채택해야 한다고 주장했다.
신주호 국민의힘 부대변인은 29일 논평에서 "민주당은 국가 안보를 정쟁의 기회로 삼지 말고, 북한 규탄 공동결의안을 채택해야 한다"고 밝혔다. 신 부대변인은 "민주당이 북한의 무인기 도발과 관련해 연일 억지 주장을 펼치며 정부를 향한 공세를 이어가고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
신 부대변인은 "윤석열 대통령은 무인기 도발 당시, 상호 조치를 시행하라는 즉각적인 지시를 내렸고 시시각각 보고를 받으며 대응을 지시했다"며 "민주당이 주장하는 안보 공백은 없었으며, 정부는 항상 국가와 국민을 지키기 위해 모든 수단을 동원할 준비가 되어있다"고 적었다.
그는 이어 "그러나 민주당은 또다시 대통령실 이전을 탓하며 정부를 공격하는 이해하기 힘든 모습을 보이고 있다"며 "국가 안보의 위협적인 상황마저 정쟁의 요소로 삼아 북한이 아닌 우리 정부를 비판하는 모습이 참으로 개탄스럽다"고 밝혔다.
