[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 2일 오전 도청 대회의실에서 ‘도민과의 대화, 2023년 계묘년 새해 도정에 바란다’를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 2023년 새해를 맞아 각계각층의 도민들이 도정에 바라는 목소리를 청취하고, 이를 행정에 적극 반영함으로써 ‘도민을 위한 도정’의 최우선 가치를 실현하고자 마련됐다.
이날 행사는 행정·경제부지사를 비롯해 전 실국장과 도민 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 도정운영 방향에 대한 동영상 시청, 도민과의 대화, 도민들의 소망이 담긴 인터뷰 영상 시청 순으로 이어졌다.
박완수 경상남도지사는 “민선8기 출범 이후 지난 6개월 동안 엔진 시동을 걸고 볼트를 조으는 재도약의 기반을 다지는 시기였다면, 2023년은 도민을 위해 열심히 질주하고 성과를 내는 첫 해로 만들겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
이어 “새로운 희망을 만들어 가고 있는 시점에 각계각층의 생생한 목소리를 경청하고 도정에 반영하는 것이 도민들을 위한 도리라고 생각한다”며 “공직자들의 의지와 열정, 도민들의 뜻이 함께 모아진다면 경남이 과거와 같은 영광을 회복하고 전국 시도 중에서 우뚝 설 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.

본격적으로 진행된 도민과의 대화는 도정 비전인 ‘활기찬 경남, 행복한 도민’에 맞춰 산업경제와 문화복지 분야로 나누어 진행됐다.
김원주 개인택시 김해시지부장은 물가상승률을 반영한 택시요금 인상을 건의했고, 곽성욱 시리즈벤처스 대표는 좋은 인재 유입과 창업환경 조성을 위한 공공기관의 역할을 강조했다.
삼홍기계에서 근무 중인 김서영 씨는 경남의 원전과 방산, 항공우주산업에 대한 도의 구체적인 활성화 방안을 질문했으며, 공명숙 창원시 소상공인연합회 수석부회장은 소상공인 지원정책 방향과 지역화폐에 대한 궁금한 점을 물어봤다.
주부 이미화 씨는 자원봉사자들의 처우 개선에 대해 건의했으며, 조창수 휴림황칠 대표는 기후위기 시대에 임업의 중요성과 획기적인 지원방안 필요성을 피력하기도 했다.
