[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 지난 3일 성산아트홀 내 시립소년소녀합창단 연습실에서 16명의 신규단원 위촉식을 개최했다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 신규단원 모집은 지난해 11월 23일부터 12월 6일까지 원서접수를 통한 서류전형과 12월 10일 실기전형을 거쳐 최종 16명이 선발됐다.
단원들은 관내 초등학생 2학년에서 6학년으로 구성되었으며, 매주 정기적인 연습으로 실력을 쌓아, 시에서 주관하는 각종 문화예술행사와 정기공연 등 활발한 대외활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
창원시립소년소녀합창단은 올해도 기쁨과 희망을 선사하는 합창단 활동과 함께 ‘문화예술 도시 창원’을 국내·외에 알리고 청소년 문화예술 발전에 선도적인 역할을 다할 예정이다.
조명래 제2부시장은 “창원시립소년소녀합창단원이 된 것을 진심으로 환영하고 축하한다”며 “창원시립소년소녀합창단은 오랫동안 아름다운 하모니로 창원 시민에게 감동을 전하는 것뿐만 아니라 졸업 단원들이 머리카락 기부를 하는 등의 아름다운 전통도 세우고 있다”고 말헀다.
