브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국토교통부는 6일 전세사기 근절 및 피해자 지원방안 등을 논의하기 위해 법률전문가, 공인중개사, 학계 등으로 구성된 13명의 민간자문단을 위촉한다고 밝혔다.
민간자문단은 전문분야를 고려해 법률반, 실무거래반, 제도연구반으로 구성했다. 전세계약 관련 법률·거래실무 등에 대한 피해자 질의와 국토부의 제도 개선사항 등에 대한 전문적 자문을 지원한다.
특히, 전세계약의 주요 수요층이 사회초년층·신혼부부 등 청년이라는 점을 고려, 자문단에 2030을 대표할 수 있는 전문가들도 다수 위촉해 청년의 눈높이에 맞는 지원이 될 수 있도록 했다.
아울러 부동산 계약과 분쟁 등 실무의 경험과 노하우가 풍부한 민간자문단이 구성됨에 따라 체감되고 실효성 있는 지원대책 마련에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
국토부는 6일 킥오프 회의를 시작으로 민간자문단과 전세사기 범죄 예방방안을 모색하고, 피해자에 대한 유용한 자문과 함께 국토부 청년정책위원단·SNS 등 다양한 경로의 의견도 검토할 계획이다.
또한, 오는 10일 개최 예정인 피해자 설명회에 참석해 피해자 설명을 지원할 계획이며, 이달 발표 예정인 전세사기 피해를 최소화하기 위한 대책에도 민간자문단의 목소리를 담는다.
국토부 김효정 주택정책관은 “다양한 계약과 분쟁조정 경험을 통해 전문성을 확보한 민간자문단이 전세사기 문제 해결의 싱크탱크 역할을 해줄 것으로 기대한다”며 “피해자분들이 보증금을 조속히 돌려받고, 앞으로는 안심하고 부동산 계약을 맺을 수 있는 거래환경이 조성되도록 함께 열심히 지혜를 모으겠다”고 말했다.
