브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 10일 검찰의 성남FC 후원금 의혹 수사를 위해 검찰에 출석했다.
이재명 대표는 이날 수사를 받기 위해 오전 경기 수원지방검찰청 성남지청을 찾았다.
이 대표는 청사 앞 취재진들 앞에서 "특권을 바란 바도, 잘못한 것도, 피할 이유도 없으니 당당하게 맞서겠다"며 "얼어붙은 정치의 겨울을 뚫어내겠다"고 밝혔다.
그는 검찰 소환조사가 유례없는 탄압임을 강조하며 "헌정사 최초 야당 책임자를 소환해서가 아니라 수년 간 수사를 통해 무혐의 처분된 사건을 다시 끄집어 냈다. 없는 사건을 만드는, 없는 죄를 조작하는 사법 쿠데타이기 때문"이라고 비판했다.
이어 그는 "성남시에 기업 유치해 세수를 확보하고 일자리를 만들고, 시민 구단 직원들이 광고를 유치해 성남 시민 세금을 아낀 일이 비난 받을 일인가"라며 "이렇게 검찰이 공권력을 마구 휘두르면 어느 지방자치단체장이 기업을 유치하고 적극 행정을 해 시민 삶을 개선하고 도시를 발전시키겠나"라고 지적했다.

그는 또한 "어떻게 성남시 세금으로 운영되는 성남FC를 미르재단처럼 사유화할 수 있다고 생각하나"라며 "개인 주머니로 착복할 수 있는 구조가 전혀 아니다. 이것을 (검찰이) 모를리가 없을텐데도 왜곡, 조작이 상상을 초월한다"고 주장했다.

이재명 대표는 기자들과 지지자들 앞에서 약 10여분간 자신의 결백과 함께 검찰이 정적 제거를 위해 조작 수사를 하고 기소권을 남용했다고 비판한 뒤 청사로 들어갔다.
한편 검찰은 성남FC 후원금 의혹과 관련해 이 대표에게 특정범죄가중처벌법상 제3자 뇌물 혐의가 있다고 보고 있다. 이 대표가 성남 시장 시절 부정한 청탁을 통해 후원금을 유치한 것으로 보고 수사가 필요하다는 입장이다.
