[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군은 말산지구 도시재생사업의 일환으로 가야 직거래장터부지 일원에 ‘다옴나눔센터’를 착공한다고 10일 밝혔다.
다옴나눔센터는 2020년 국토교통부 일반근린형으로 공모 선정된 가야 말산지구 도시재생사업으로 지원받은 사업비 143억 원 중 48억 원을 들여 지상4층 규모로 건립된다.
이 사업은 올해 1월 착공해 연말 완공을 목표로 하고 있다.
다옴나눔센터는 1층 함안 어린이체육센터, 장난감은행도서관, 행복나눔가게가 들어서며, 2층은 함안군 가족센터, 공동육아나눔터로 어린 자녀를 둔 가족 대상 전략 거점시설로 조성 할 예정이다.
3층은 청년들이 보다 손쉽게 접근하기 위해 함안 청년센터가 산인 온새미로공원에서 이전할 계획이며, 4층은 함안군 도시재생지원센터가 조성돼 도시재생 기초거점공간으로 구성할 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “다옴나눔센터는 어린자녀를 둔 가족, 청년들을 위한 중심거점으로 조성하겠다”며 “가야읍을 젊은 세대가 살기 좋은 도시로서의 이미지를 부각하고, 젊은 부부와 청년들의 정착을 유도해 말산지구에 활력을 불어넣고 더 나아가 지방소멸위기 극복에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
