[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 17일 창원시자원봉사센터 마산센터 회의실에서 창원시자원봉사단체협의회 마산지회 2023년 정기총회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
마산지회 임원진 및 읍·면·동 회원 30명이 참석한 가운데 진행된, 이날 총회에는 설날맞이 ‘사랑의 생필품 키트 제작’ 나눔 활동이 병행 진행되었으며, 지난해 사업결산과 올해 사업계획 등 보고를 시작으로 지난해의 활동을 돌아보고 2023년 활동 계획을 밝혔다.
사랑의 생필품 키트 나눔 활동은 마산지회 회원들의 중고매장 운영 수익금 및 후원금으로 추진되었으며, 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 마산회원구 관내 저소득 40가구에 전달될 예정이다.
박순철 지회장은 “시민과 지역의 안전을 지키고 일상으로의 회복을 위해 회원들이 더욱 단결된 모습으로 어려운 이웃을 돌보고 자원봉사의 손길이 필요한 구석구석에 따뜻한 온기를 전할 수 있도록 앞장서 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
서호관 복지여성보건국장은 “지난 한 해 따뜻한 마음으로 헌신적으로 봉사활동을 펼친 자원봉사단체협의회 회원들에게 감사의 마음을 전한다”며 “올 한 해도 자원봉사활성화를 위해 도움의 손길이 필요한 곳에 회원 여러분들이 함께 해주길 바란다”고 당부했다.
