[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 17일부터 18일까지 창원문화도시지원센터에서 제5차 법정문화도시 추진을 위한 전문가 컨설팅을 실시한다고 17일 밝혔다.

이번 컨설팅은 문화도시 관련 전국 단위의 전문가를 모시고 △창원문화도시지원센터 △문화도시 시민결정위원회 △창원문화재단 등 우리 시 문화도시 추진관련자 20여명이 참석해, 제5차 예비문화도시 추진사업과 법정 문화도시 선정을 위한 다양한 의견 청취와 창원문화도시 조성계획의 방향 등에 대한 자문을 갖는 시간을 가졌다.

2021년 4차 예비문화도시 지정 후 올해 예비문화도시로 재선정된 창원시는 ‘문화로 하나되는 삼시삼색 창원’을 비전으로 5개분야 △문화도시 기반 마련 △다양한 문화주체의 발굴과 참여 △권역별 삼시삼색 특성강화 △문화를 통한 연결망 확대 △도시변화를 위한 연계·협력 사업과 26개 단위사업을 추진할 계획이다.

제5차 법정 문화도시 지정 추진을 위한 첫 발걸음인 이번 컨설팅을 통해 지난해 기 승인받은 문화도시 조성계획의 문제점을 진단하고 개선사항을 도출하여 올해 최종 문화도시조성계획에 반영할 예정이다.

정현섭 창원특례시 문화관광체육국장은 “이번 전문가 컨설팅을 통해 문화도시 조성계획 및 예비사업을 재검토하여, 시민과 함께 창원특례시만의 특색있는 문화도시 사업추진에 만전을 기하겠다”며 창원문화도시 선정을 위한 굳은 의지를 보였다.
