[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 13일부터 450억원 규모의 ‘2023년 소상공인 육성자금’을 지원한다.
시 소상공인 육성자금은 소상공인들의 자금 융통 및 창업·경영안정을 위해 최대 5000만원 이내 대출금에 대해 2년간 연 2.5%의 이자를 지원한다.
이번 지원대상은 관내에 사업장을 둔 소상공인으로 제조.건설.운송.광업은 10인 미만 업체, 도매.소매.음식.서비스업은 상시 종업원 5인 미만 업체로 소상공인 요건에 해당하면 지원받을 수 있다.
자금규모는 총 450억원으로 상반기에 230억원, 하반기에 220억원이 시행되며, 대출방식은 경남신용보증재단을 통한 보증대출과 금융기관 자체 신용·담보대출을 통하는 두 가지가 있다.
진주시 관계자는 “경기침체로 어려운 소상공인들의 부담을 줄이기 위해 조례개정을 통해 연 2.5% 이자 지원율을 연 3%로 상향할 계획이다”며“올해 신규 대출 신청자는 개정된 이자율이 소급 적용된다”고 말했다.
