[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 6일 진해구 소재 정담실버복지센터에서 창원시자원봉사센터 재능기부뱅크 사업인 ‘찾아가는 이·미용 봉사’를 추진했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지난해 12월 재능기부뱅크에 신규 등록한 해군교육사 근무지원전대 소속 이발병 7명의 재능기부로 실시됐다. 이들은 복지센터를 이용하는 30명의 어르신들에게 헤어커트 서비스를 지원했다.
봉사팀 소속 A병사는 “어르신들이 헤어커트 서비스를 받고 만족해하시는 모습을 보면서 친할아버지를 뵙는 것 같아 너무 기뻤다”며 “어르신들을 직접 만나 머리도 잘라드리고 안부도 확인하며 조금이나마 도움이 된 것 같아 보람된 시간이었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
서호관 복지여성보건국장은 “자발적인 재능기부로 따뜻한 손길을 전해주신 자원봉사자분들께 감사를 드린다”며 “앞으로도 지속해서 민관이 협력하여 좋은 뜻을 함께하고 싶다”고 말했다.
