울진군, 생활폐기물 처리시설 입지 신청 공모 나서

군에 따르면 이는 향후 3~4년 뒤 매립시설 종료가 예상되는 울진군 생활폐기물 매립지 등의 대체지역을 찾기 위해 공모를 진행하는 것으로 부지면적 약 5만 제곱미터 이상 확보가 가능한 지역, 신규시설은 매립시설(약 30,000㎡), 소각시설(48톤/일), 재활용선별시설(10톤/일)로 설치할 예정이며, 입지 후보지의 여건과 유치신청 내용에 따라 변동될 수 있다.

후보지는 1개 리통 이상 마을의 대표로 이루어진 유치위원회를 구성하고 신청지역 부지 경계로부터 2km 이내 지역에 거주하는 세대주 50% 찬성과 토지소유자 50% 이상 매각 동의를 받은 지역 등이 신청 가능하며, 도시계획지역 내 상업지역, 문화재보호구역, 상수원보호구역, 자연환경보전지역 등은 제외된다.
