[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도의회는 지역 주민 불편사항 등 지역현안에 대해, 보다 직접적이고 적극적인 소통을 하고자 지역민원상담소를 3월부터 시범운영할 계획이다.

장소는 진주 서부청사 2층에 있는 도의원 연구실이며, 지역민원상담소와 병행해 운영하게 되고, 이용 방법은 일정을 사전에 협의해 도의원 또는 담당자에게 민원이나 건의사항을 직접 전달하면 된다.

김진부 의장은 “의회가 나아가야 할 궁극적인 목표는 결국 도민의 의견을 듣고 그것을 토대로 정책을 완성하는 것이며, 도민만을 위한 의회를 만들기 위해서는 끊임없이 도민들의 의견에 귀 기울이는 자세가 필요하다”며,“진주 서부청사에서 시범운영 후, 앞으로 지역민원상담소를 더욱 확대·운영하여, 보다 다양한 도민의 목소리를 도정에 반영하고, 도민과 공감하는 의회를 만들어가겠다.”고 말했다.
