시내버스 서비스 향상 ‘숙제’ 창원시민이 직접 평가

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시 시내버스를 이용하는 시민을 대상으로 3월 한달간 대시민 버스 만족도 조사를 시행한다.

시는 버스에 탑승하고 있는 일부 시민을 대상으로 직접 인터뷰 조사를 진행하던 기존의 조사방식을 개선하고 시민참여를 확대하기 위해 관내 시내·마을버스 전체 768대에 QR코드를 부착해 시민이 체감하는 친절도 쾌적성 안전성 편의성을 조사한다.

이번 만족도 조사는 경남에서 유일하게 시내버스 준공영제를 시행 중인 창원시가 추진 하는 ‘시내버스 경영 및 서비스평가 개선방안 검토 용역’의 일환으로 창원시의 단일 대중교통 수단인 시내버스를 시민들이 직접 평가하며 그 결과는 서비스 평가의 개선방향 설정에 활용될 예정이다.

창원시 이승룡 교통건설국장은 “올해는 시민들의 발이자 우리시의 유일한 대중교통인 시내버스가 대대적으로 변화되는 혁신의 원년이라고 볼 수 있다. 시내버스 노선개편, 원이대로 S-BRT, 어르신 시내버스 무료이용, 버스 디자인 변경 등 시민들께서 직접 체감하실 수 있는 정책들이 시행된다”고 밝혔다.
