한울본부, 사랑의 집수리 사업 600호 달성

한울원자력본부에 따르면 '사랑의 집수리 사업'은 주거환경이 열악한 울진지역 이웃들을 위해 한울본부가 주택의 샷시와 창호를 교체해 에너지 효율을 높이고 도배, 장판, 화장실 등의 주거환경을 개선하는 사업이다.

이 사업은 2005년 첫 삽을 뜬 후로 지난 18년간 한 해도 거르지 않고 꾸준히 이어져 왔다. 지원 금액은 누적 39억 원에 달한다.

지역주민이 혜택을 직접 피부로 느낄 수 있어 주민체감형사업의 대표적인 사례로 평가받고 있다.

한울본부는 올해도 사랑의 집수리 사업에 4억 원을 지원할 예정이다. 특히 올해는 주거환경 개선뿐만 아니라 에너지 진단을 통해 가옥의 에너지 효율을 높이는 사업도 함께 시행할 방침이다.

박범수 본부장은 "한울본부의 사회공헌 특화사업이 지역민의 삶의 질 개선으로 이어지도록 관심과 지원에 더욱 힘 쏟겠다"고 말했다.
