이날 회의에서는 △ 지역형 특성화 대학 유치 △ 경로당 공동급식 시범사업 운영 △ 귀농 대책 총괄 조정(귀농인 이사비용 지원사업 추진방안)△ 귀어 대책 총괄 조정 등 4개 주요 현안 사업을 대상으로 이행상황, 문제점 및 향후 대책 등을 점검하고 효율적인 추진방안을 모색했다.

손병복 울진군수는“지역형 특성화 대학 유치는 2단계 계획수립으로 울진에서 취업이 가능한 방안을 강구하고 경로당 공동급식 시범사업 운영은 세밀한 계획수립과 원칙 결정이 필요하다”고 말했다.

또한 “귀농 대책 총괄 조정은 밭농사에도 기계화를 통한 경작환경 조성하고, 귀어 대책 총괄 조정은 귀농 대책과 조건이 같아야 하므로 농정과와의 긴밀한 논의가 필요하다”고 강조했다.
