[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 사천시는 산업통상자원부 산하 한국산업단지공단의 2023년 산업단지 환경조성 정부 공모사업인 '혁신지원센터 구축사업'에 최종 선정됐다고 5일 밝혔다.
이로 인해 시는 혁신지원센터 건립을 위한 국비 40억원, 도비 5억원 등 총 45억원의 사업비를 확보하게 됐다.
이 사업은 산업단지 내 입주기업의 기업활동 지원 및 업종 고도화 촉진 등을 위해 R&D, 기업지원 등의 혁신기능 집적화 지원을 위한 사업이다.
이번 선정으로 2023년부터 2026년까지 4년간 총 45억원을 투자해 부지 5,188㎡ 연면적 1,963㎡ 지상 3층 규모로 산단 내 입주기업을 지원하는 혁신지원센터가 건립된다.
문화·복지 편의시설인 복합문화센터와 2022년 노후거점 산단 재생사업으로 선정된 주차장 건립과 연계해 구조고도화와 노후 산업단지 경쟁력 강화를 위한 긍정적 시너지 효과가 기대된다.
