군에 따르면 이날 회의는 손병복 울진군수, 경상북도 체육회장을 비롯한 관계자 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 최종 추진상황 보고와 도민체전 현장 답사 등 도민체전 성공개최를 위한 마지막 점검을 마쳤다.
울진군과 경상북도체육회 및 울진군 체육회는‘긴밀한 협조체제를 구축해 대회를 성공적으로 이끌고 경북도민체육대회의 성공적인 개최로 체육인과 경북의 위상을 높일 수 있도록 마지막까지 집중하겠다’라는 각오를 다졌다.
한편 제61회 경북도민체육대회는 오는 4월 21일부터 24일까지 4일간 울진종합운동장 외 종목별 경기장에서 23개 시군 선수와 임원 12,000여 명이 참가해 열띤 경쟁을 펼칠 예정이다.
