[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] ‘2023년 함안 스트리트 댄스 페스티벌’이 22일 함안문화예술회관 대공연장에서 처음으로 열린다.
페스티벌은 오는 21일부터 23일까지 3일간 함안공설운동장 및 함주공원 일원에서 개최되는 2023년 군민의 날 행사에 맞춰 열린다.
행사에는 함안 출신의 세계적 비보이 피직스 김효근을 비롯해 다양한 출연진이 게스트로 참여해 화려하고 박진감 넘치는 무대를 선보일 예정이다.
앞서 지난 3월 2일부터 4월 14일까지 참가 신청을 받았으며 비보이 브레이킹 댄스에 28개팀 112명, 오픈 스타일 댄스에 67명으로 총 179명이 신청했다.
예선전은 22일 오후 1시부터 오후 5시까지 열리며 각각 본선 16개 팀을 선정한다.
본 경기는 오후 6시부터 시작되며 JERRY와 ZEALOT가 사회를, ZESTY와 JOOPOP가 DJ로 나서며 행사에는 ‘리버스크루’와 ‘위너스크루’가 특별공연을 한다.
배틀게스트로 ‘5000’, ‘BBOY T’, ‘POPBONG’, ‘CERA’ 등이 무대를 꾸민다.
비보이 브레이킹은 4:4 배틀, 오픈 스타일은 2:2 배틀로 비보이 및 오픈 스타일 댄스 나눠 16강전-8강전-4강전-결승전 순으로 진행된다.
