【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군은 지난 17일 발표된 한국매니페스토실천본부의 ‘2023 민선 8기 전국 기초단체장 공약실천계획서(로드맵) 평가’에서 7년 연속 최우수(SA) 등급을 획득했다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 전국 시장.군수.구청장의 선거공약의 실효성과 실천 가능성을 높이기 위해 철학과 비전, 연차별 이행 로드맵, 재정계획 등의 실행 방안과 공개 여부를 진단했다.
평가의 기준은 갖춤성(60점 만점), 민주성(25점 만점), 투명성(15점 만점), 공약일치도(Pass/Fail) 항목에 따른 35개의 세부 지표별로 절대평가로 진행해 총점 90점 이상을 SA등급, 80점 이상은 A등급으로 선정했다.
영덕군은 전국 82개 군 단위 중 8곳 밖에 없고 경상북도 군 단위로는 유일하게 SA등급을 획득했으며, 이로써 경상북도에서 유일하게 7년 연속 매니페스토평가 최우수 등급을 받는 쾌거를 이루게 됐다.
영덕군은 지난해 7월 들어선 민선 8기 김광열 영덕군수의 취임 직후 ‘영덕군수 공약사업 운영관리규정(훈령)’을 제정하고, ‘군민과 함께하는 새로운 영덕’이라는 비전으로 △매력적인 투자환경 조성 △색다름이 있는 문화관광 △같이 하면 행복한 복지 △웃음꽃 피는 농산어촌 △마음 나누는 소통행정의 5대 군정 목표에 따라 김광열 영덕군수의 선거공약을 46개 사업으로 체계화했다.
