브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= Tesla Korea가 지난 17일 강남구 신사동에 신규 Tesla 스토어를 오픈했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번에 오픈한 신사점은 209㎡(약 63평) 규모로, 신사스퀘어 1층에 자리를 잡았다. 테슬라측은 소비자 접근성이 뛰어난 신사역 상권과 가로수길 상권의 중심 지역에 스토어를 오픈하게 됐다고 설명했다.
운영시간은 매일 오전 10시부터 오후 7시까지이며 지난 3월 한국에 첫 출시된 Model S Plaid 및 Model X Plaid, Model Y가 전시된다.
아울러 오픈 기념으로 신사 스토어에서 Model 3 또는 Model Y를 시승한 내방객에게는 한정 수량으로 Tesla 모자를 증정하는 이벤트도 진행한다.
한편 Tesla Korea는 국내 소비자와의 접점을 확대하기 위해 국내 인프라를 지속적으로 확장한다는 계획이다. 수퍼차저 스테이션을 지속적으로 늘려가는 한편, 연내 최대 3개의 서비스 센터 추가 확충을 목표로 하고 있다.
4월 현재 기준 전국적으로 총 132곳의 수퍼차저 스테이션, 7개의 스토어, 1개의 사고수리 센터, 9개의 서비스 센터, 19개의 공인 바디샵을 운영하고 있다.
