25일 울진군에 따르면 이날 폐회식은 식전 공연을 시작으로 도민체전 수상자 발표, 다음 도민체전 개최지인 구미시로 대회기 전달 등 순으로 진행됐다.
이번 경북도민체전은 다채로운 볼거리를 제공해 성공적인 스포츠 축제의 장을 열었다는 평을 얻었다. 특히, 개회식은 무대 앞에 군민석 1,200석을 마련해 선수단과 내빈들이 군민들의 응원을 직접 느끼면서 입장할 수 있었고, 군민들은 바로 앞에서 선수단 입장을 생생하게 관람할 수 있었다.
또한, 인기가수 축하공연, 불꽃 드론 성화 점화, 드론쇼 연출 등 다양한 볼거리를 제공했으며 다양한 특수연출을 통해 신성장 동력으로 만들어가는 울진의 미래상을 표현해 관람객들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
특히 개회식의 하이라이트인 성화 점화는 불꽃 드론으로 성화 점화를 한 후 300대의 드론을 활용한 화려한 드론쇼와 불꽃놀이를 연출해 관람객들의 눈길을 사로잡았다.
또 경북 최초 AI 스포츠 중계방식을 도입해 경기장에 방문하지 않고도 도민체육대회 경기를 즐길 수 있도록 해 앞으로 경북도민체육대회가 나아갈 방향을 제시했다.
이번 대회에서는 다양한 종목에서 신기록도 쏟아졌다. 신기록은 육상 3개, 수영 9개, 사격 2개 등 총 3개 종목 14개이다.
2관왕 이상의 다관왕은 6개 종목에서 62명이 차지했다. 4관왕의 경우 육상 3개 수영 3개 등 총 2개 종목 6명이다.
개최지인 울진군은 12년만에 군부 우승을 차지하는 쾌거를 거두었다. 이번 대회를 끝으로 7월에 대구광역시로 편입되는 군위군에 그동안 함께했던 22개 시군의 뜻을 모아 특별상을 수여했다.
성취상은 시부 안동시, 군부 성주군, 모범선수단상은 시부 문경시, 군부 울릉군, 입장상은 시부 영천시, 군부 봉화군이 각각 차지했으며 최우수 선수상은 시부 경산시 선수단 수영 종목의 송명지 선수, 군부 칠곡군 선수단 육상 종목의 김홍유 선수가 수상의 영광을 얻었다.
종합시상에서 시부 1위는 포항시, 2위와 3위는 구미시와 경산시이며 군부 1위는 개최지인 울진군이 2위와 3위는 예천군과 칠곡군이 각각 수상하는 쾌거를 거두었다.
이번 대회에서 좋은 성적을 거둔 선수들은 오는 10월 13일 목포에서 개최되는 제104회 전국체전에 경북을 대표해 출전하게 된다.
