[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장이 정부 기관 주요 인사를 만나 지역 현안 해결을 위한 광폭 행보를 이어가고 있다.
조규일 시장은 1일 서울역과 정부서울청사에서 경제교육단체협의회 회장인 박재완 전 기획재정부 장관과 장영진 산업통상자원부 제1차관을 차례로 만나 진주시 현안 사업을 건의했다.
조 시장은 박재완 전 장관을 만난 자리에서 오는 7월에 개최되는 ‘K-기업가정신 진주 국제포럼’과 진주 K-기업가정신재단 출범 등 K-기업가정신의 확산 노력에 동참해 줄 것을 요청했다.
이어 그는 정부의 미래 국가 핵심 인재 양성을 위한 교과서 개편과 한국형 오슬로아젠다 도입에 진주 K-기업가정신 과정을 포함해줄 것도 함께 건의했다.
이에 박재완 전 장관은 “K-기업가정신 진주 국제포럼과 경제교육 등에 협력하겠다”며“진주 K-기업가정신 확산을 위해 향후 경제교육단체협의회와 상호 업무협약을 체결하는 등 적극적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
또 조규일 시장은 장영진 산업통상자원부 제1차관을 만나 산업대전환 프로젝트에 대한민국 기업가정신 국립역사관 건립을 반영해 타당성 조사 용역이 내년 국비예산으로 편성될 수 있도록 건의했다.
현재 산업통상자원부는 경제시스템의 근본적인 체질 개선을 위해 산업대전환 프로젝트를 추진하고 있으며, 지난 2월부터 경제단체 및 민간 전문가와 ‘산업대전환 포럼’을 운영 중이다.
또 조규일 시장은 진주시 미래 먹거리 사업으로 추진하는 AAM(미래항공모빌리티) 산업생태계 조성사업의 정부지원 필요성을 설명하고, ‘미래항공기체 안전성평가센터’ 구축사업 추진을 위한 신규 공모사업도 건의했다.
진주시는 회전익비행센터와 연계해 AAV 기체 안전성 평가와 시험비행을 한 곳에서 진행해 시너지 효과를 낼 수 있는 시험평가 연구시설을 구축해 가산일반산업단지를 ‘Safe AAV’생산기지로 조성할 계획이다.
아울러 조규일 시장은 오는 7월 개최되는 ‘K-기업가정신 진주 국제포럼’이 전 세계의 기업인이 찾는 국제적인 포럼으로 발전할 수 있도록 적극적인 관심과 지원도 당부했다.
이에 장영진 산자부 1차관은 “K-기업가정신도 K-POP, K-드라마와 같이 한류열풍을 이어갈 K-컨텐츠로 주목할 만한 가치가 있다”며“기업가정신 국립역사관 건립 타당성 용역이 예산에 반영될 수 있도록 긍정적으로 검토하겠다”고 말했다.
