브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 BSI(British Standards Institution, 영국왕실표준협회)로부터 건설정보모델링(BIM) 분야의 국제표준인 ‘ISO 19650:2018’ 신규 인증을 취득했다고 8일 밝혔다.
‘ISO 19650:2018’은 BIM을 다루는 국제 표준으로 발주자, 원도급자, 하도급자 등 사업수행 주체별로 BIM 정보관리, 운영 및 협업 역량에 대한 요구사항을 포함하고 있다.
이를 바탕으로 내부 문서(절차, 지침, 프로세스), 인터뷰, 수행 프로젝트 실적, 샘플링 점검 등 26개 분야에 대한 객관적인 검증을 수행한다.
대우건설은 원도급자로서 ISO 19650:2018을 취득한 것으로, 입찰부터 설계, 시공까지의 건설프로젝트 전 과정에서 국제적인 수준의 BIM 관리체계가 일관성 있고 지속적인 개선을 수행하고 있다는 것을 의미한다.
대우건설은 이번 신규 인증 취득으로 싱가포르, 홍콩, 사우디아라비아 등 글로벌 건설시장에서의 수주 경쟁력을 확보하게 됐다고 설명했다. 최근 해외 신규 프로젝트 입찰시 ISO 19650:2018은 요건으로 적용되는 경우가 많기 때문이다.

토목 분야에서는 BIM을 기반으로 한 공사관리 시스템을 구현해 시공 단계에서의 데이터 체계 구축 및 수행 데이터의 취합과 관리가 용이하도록 개발하고 있다.
플랜트 분야에서는 기존 EPC PJ에 적용중인 BIM을 확대 적용해 설계부터 구매 및 시공까지 데이터의 실시간 상호 공유 및 수행 표준화를 위한 통합관리 플랫폼 구축을 진행중이다.
